Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice Wallace Jefferson has signed off on a court of inquiry request into the prosecutorial conduct of former Williamson County District Attorney Ken Anderson. Anderson is accused of withholding evidence from the defense in the 1987 murder trial of Michael Morton. Morton spent 24 years behind bars before newly-tested DNA evidence cleared him in the murder of his wife Christine.
