Gabrielle Nestande pleaded not guilty Friday in the deadly hit-and-run of 30-year-old Courtney Griffin last year. Griffin was walking on Exposition Boulevard when police say Nestande, a former aide in the Texas House, struck Griffin with her black BMW and fled the scene. Jury selection begins Sept. 17.
