Murder charges dropped against former Longhorn

Story Summary:
The Williamson County District Attorney's Office dropped all charges against Patric Fairs, a former basketball player for the University of Texas Longhorns. Fairs was arrested in October 2011 for the 2006 murder of his then-fiancee, Philise Lateria Estes, and had spent more than 14 months in jail. His defense team had found that many items of evidence from the original crime scene, including fingerprints and DNA evidence, had not been tested.
