Jury selection complete, Nestande trial to begin Tuesday

Story Summary:
Jury selection wrapped up for 25-year-old Gabrielle Nestande, who faces manslaughter and intoxication manslaughter charges in the hit-and-run death of Courtney Griffin in the spring of 2011. The state says Nestande fatally struck Griffin with her black BMW after a night of drinking before fleeing to a friend’s house nearby. The California native, a former legislative aide, was arrested at the Capitol later that morning. A pool of 85 potential jurors was narrowed down to 12, with one alternate. The trial is expected to last two weeks.
