The Small Stars is a band that is listed in the SXSW program as being from Reno, Nevada. That isn't exactly true; the Stars are actually from right here in Austin and pretending to be a cabaret band from Reno. It's been part of their live shows for a long time. They are fronted by former Fastball frontman Mike Zuniga.

As part of News 8 Austin's SXSW music preview, they perform "'Sweet Sweet Sweet."
