Central Texans clean out the clutter
Round Rock resident Joe Chateau said there will be less clutter in his house after a visit to the Clear Your Clutter event.
"It feels wonderful. The house is more empty," he said.
Chateau dropped off a used dining set and a console TV at the clear your clutter event at IKEA in Round Rock, on Saturday.
"I think it's awesome that people can fix their houses up and I think it's even better that it's going to go to needy people," he said.

While some things could be saved and donated to charity other items needed to be shredded, like the box of documents Austin resident Stephanie Delk brought.
"It's nice just to be able to drop it off somewhere. The fact that it's free is really cool," Delk said.
From old documents to a few unusual items, people brought a little bit of everything.
"This is a fertility God. It's supposed to make you have lots of children," Austin resident Ruth Powers said, showing a decorative wooden figure.
Like many who came, Powers said it was just time to get rid of it.
"I think so. I've had enough children," Powers said.
