More than 68,000 children in Texas were abused or neglected in 2009.
April is Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month. Court-Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA volunteers, serve as a voice for abused or neglected children in court.
CASA is also looking for more volunteers to help these children.
