UT students and Goodwill to host electronic waste drive
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, nearly two-million tons of electronic waste ended up in landfills in 2007.
The agency said that number grows each year.
To help with this problem, University of Texas engineering students and Goodwill are holding an electronic waste drive in Downtown Austin this Saturday.
Electronic items can be dropped off for free recycling in lot 39 of the LBJ parking lot between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
