Burnet High School teacher arrested for relationship with student

An assistant band director at Burnet High School was arrested Friday and is being held at the Burnet County Jail.
Roger Michael Williams, 32, is charged with having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
The district is not releasing any details about the incident, because of the ongoing investigation.
"Our primary concern is the safety and well-being of our children, and I know that you will do everything you can to ensure our children are taken care of," Burnet Consolidated ISD Superintendent Jeffrey Hanks said.
He also said the district is fully cooperating with law enforcement in the investigation.
Anyone with information that may help in the investigation is asked to call the school or the Burnet Police Department.
