If your middle school student has an interest in technology, computers,
and video games, you'll want to check out Camp Wired this summer.

Camp Wired was created here in Austin to teach 5th through
9th graders how to create their own video games, websites and digital art.

Marianna Ricketson-Husain, founder of Camp Wired, said this camp is made for middle school students who love technology.

"Every kid these days, they are really interested in working on the computer. Maybe they play games all day long. You might as well have them come over and create their own games," she said.

The technology camp features week-long classes for kids ages 7-15. There are still spaces available on the camps website.
