On the high school level, McCallum High School took the top spot for the fourth straight year.
The Austin Classical Guitar Society provides outreach to various campuses within the Austin Independent School District, but it’s just one part of what the society does.
In fact, when "Austin Goes Classical" June 22-27, the society will host 60 events over the course of six days at the Long Center, coinciding with a major international classical guitar competition.
Whether it's world-renowned guitarist Pepe Romero, the LA String Quartet, the Austin Symphony Orchestra or even the Biscuit Brothers, there's something for everyone.
