One local bank is being called the “Netflix of the banking industry.”

The Business Bank of Texas was founded in Austin in 2007 by its CEO Ed Lette, a 40-year veteran of the banking industry. The bank handles no cash or checks, and does not operate any branches or employ any tellers. Everything it does, it does electronically.
“Nowadays, with technology, none of that is necessary,” Colin Pope, Editor of the Austin Business Journal said. “This bank is really playing off of that.”
The bank offers small businesses a chance to cut out a number of steps from their banking routines.
