Sometimes memorable moments during the big game are the breaks in between.
Advertisers spend millions of dollars on commercials to air during the Super Bowl. This year's commercials featured celebrities and plenty of animals, but how did the ads compare to last year?
Eric Webber with McGarrah Jessee advertising agency shared his thoughts.
“When you invest your time and money into a Super Bowl spot, the stakes are pretty high, the pressure is high. If you’re successful, you could be spectacularly special and the same goes if you fail,” Webber said. "I thought it was a little bit lackluster this year. I didn't think there was really a home run spot and there were a couple that were just truly awful."
Webber said his top picks include the Fiat commercial and the Volkswagen commercial with the out-of-shape dog that makes a comeback.
