Austin police say the body of 27-year-old James McQuaig was discovered Sunday afternoon in the 1700 block of Stephen F. Austin Drive, near Austin High School and the Lady Bird Hike and Bike Trail.

Homicide detectives believe the circumstances around McQuaig’s death could be suspicious. They are asking anyone who may frequent the area, or may have known McQuaig, to contact the police with any information.
