A man is dead following a car wreck in East Austin.
Police say the car hit a utility pole about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday near Airport Boulevard and Springdale Road.
Investigators say the passenger died after he was ejected from the car. However, the 19-year-old driver is expected to live.
Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash.
