A family-friendly flash mob hit two Downtown Austin bridges Saturday.

Armed with bubble-making equipment, the group lined the Ann W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge for Operation: Random Acts of Bubbles. Later they planned a similar attack on the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge which crosses Lady Bird Lake by Lamar Boulevard.

Organizers say it's important to have events in downtown that all ages can enjoy.

“We try to do stuff that's really inclusive and really family friendly,” Melissa Filkins with Flash Mob Austin said. “This turned out to be, I think, maybe the most family friendly one we've ever done."

The event was organized by Flash Mob Austin. If you'd like to get involved or get more information, visit FlashMobAustin.com.
