YNN provides customers of our parent company, Time Warner Cable, with full access to YNN.com. Want more information? Have a problem getting complete access? Here are the answers:
What do TWC video customers get on YNN.com?
The websites for Time Warner Cable's 24-hour news channels – including YNN, NY1 News, NY1 Noticias, and News 14 Carolina – offer full access to Time Warner Cable customers who subscribe to TWC video (TV) service.
This includes access to all of our video content, including our YNN Minute; our web-only forecast called Your Weather Now; full episodes of Capital Tonight, our 30-minute newscast dedicated to all things political; full episodes of Your Sports Now, our sports show dedicated to highlighting Central Texas sports; full episodes of Talking Pictures On Demand, our weekly movie review program; additional material from each of our in-depth series; expanded web-only videos including long-form interviews and extended on-location footage; and of course the rest of our video reports plus our vast archive of clips.
In order to access our full site, Time Warner Cable customers must sign in to YNN.com using their Time Warner Cable username and password – the same ID used to access TWC's online bill pay service, stream TV shows from WatchESPN and HBO GO, access the TWC TV mobile apps, and use Remote DVR manager, Phone Manager and other TWC services.
This ID is free of charge to all TWC TV subscribers, and there is no additional charge for the enhanced website content. However, TWC subscribers with only high-speed data or phone service will need to upgrade to a video subscription to be able to fully access the upgraded site.
Those without a TWC ID can access a lite version of the site, which does not include video or other exclusive features.
If you've already set up your TWC ID, you're all ready to access the enhanced YNN.com. If not, you can register for your TWC ID by following the instructions below.
How do I sign in for full site access?
To access the full site, you must sign in with your Time Warner Cable username and password. This is the same username and password used to access TWC's online bill pay service, stream TV shows from WatchESPN and HBO GO, access the TWC TV mobile apps, and use Remote DVR manager, Phone Manager and other TWC services.

Does my login also get me access to the live video stream?
In addition to our video clips, we also offer TWC video subscribers accesss to our 24/7 live video stream – however you must have YNN Austin in the channel line-up on your cable box. Because the stream is limited to those who get YNN Austin on their TV, we currently require that you login separately to view the stream.
In a future version of the site we'll offer a single login that will allow you to access all our feature at once.
When I go to sign in, I get a message saying "Your Time Warner Cable subscription does not currently include access to this programming."
First make sure that you subscribe to TWC's video (TV) services. If you're a TWC customer who has only high-speed data or phone service, you must upgrade to a video subscription to be able to fully access the upgraded sites. You can order TWC video service on the Time Warner Cable Ordering Page.
If you get this message while trying to sign in to our 24/7 live stream, it's probably because you don't get have YNN Austin in the channel line-up on your cable box.
