Before coming to Austin she worked out of our Temple Bureau for two years covering news in the Waco area.

Some of her most memorable coverage there includes reporting at Scott and White Hospital the day of the Fort Hood shooting and getting in a pit filled with rattlesnakes for the Oglesby rattlesnake round up.

Bonnie says the best part of her job is getting to meet and interact with the fine people of central Texas.

She's a southeast Texas gal, having grown up in the city of Beaumont and attended college in Houston.

She is a cum laude graduate from the University of St. Thomas with a B.A. in communications and a minor in philosophy.

When she's not working, Bonnie enjoys tending to her two Chihuahuas Diego and Bianca, fishing and playing her cello.
