Now that school is out, a different kind of business is booming — summer camps.

Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope said The Money Academy teaches kids as young as 8 years old about personal finance, including how to save and invest money.
The camp was started by a mother who wanted to teach her daughter the value of a dollar, and has since grown to an expanding business which could soon turn into a franchise.
