Downtown Austin is seemingly ever changing, but there’s one crowd that doesn’t have much love in the urban core — children.

Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope said downtown has transformed into a mecca for the hip and trendy crowd, but eventually that same group will settle down with children and remain in the inner city.

The only child-exclusive amenity downtown now is the Dell Children’s Museum, but is slated to move to central Austin soon.
