Technology will play a huge role in the future of health care according to Jesus Garza, Chief Administrator of the Seton Family of Hospitals.
Garza will be among other medical professionals offering their thoughts during Austin Business Journal's Health care of the Future discussion at the AT&T Center on April 26.
The goal of the discussion is to provide the business community with information regarding what's happening in health care, and technology will be part of the discussion.
"As we start thinking about the people we are caring for there are pieces of technology that can be used in people's home so that we can monitor their progress," Garza said.
This and other new technology has the potential to change the quality and cost of health care, Garza said.
