Downtown Austin is a seller’s market.
There are currently three opportunities to buy land downtown.

The opportunity doesn’t come up often, but Starwood Capital is selling two parking lots next to Antone’s on Fifth Street, one block west of Congress Avenue. Another lot, located at Sixth Street and Congress Avenue, is also for sale.
“A lot of people want to build here, want to own land here, and so when people put property downtown on the market there are probably a lot of eyes on it,” Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope said.
