Business Now: New upgrades headed to Seton

Local healthcare giant Seton Family of Hospitals is pumping a lot of money into their fight against cancer.

Seton will be investing about $48 million into various initiatives, starting first with what they call the Cancer Care Collaborative. That project includes technology and telecommunication upgrades which will allow for better communication between doctors.

Along with those upgrades, Seton will be hiring “navigators” to help patients through the stressful and often confusing programs.
