San Antonio court to draw maps before D.C. decision
The three-judge panel in San Antonio will prepare new interim maps for the 2012 elections. Political parties are ordered to submit their briefs and proposals for the new maps by 6 p.m. next Friday, February 10. The parties can then file responsive briefs by noon on the following Monday.
The document says the court will announce interim maps before any decision is rendered by the D.C. court.
Nothing is being announced about the primary schedule, at least for now.
