Capital Tonight Executive Producer

Sarah Grady is Capital Tonight’s Executive Producer.

Sarah has been with the YNN family since 2004. She is a native New Yorker and graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications with a BS in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science.

Sarah began her journalism career at Time Warner’s YNN Albany channel. While in New York, Sarah produced statewide coverage of the 2008 presidential election and coverage of the U.S. Senate special election.

Sarah joined YNN Austin in August of 2009 as a Senior Producer and became the evening Executive Producer in 2010. A year later, she turned her focus to politics and helped launch YNN’s live political show, Capital Tonight and political blog, Capital Roundup.

When she’s not in the control room, Sarah loves getting out in the field. Some highlights included field producing the Republican and Democratic National Conventions and the Presidential Inauguration, as well as YNN’s “9/11 Ten Years Later9/11 Ten Years Later” special one hour show from New York City.
