Undecided voters agree on importance of economic recovery

Undecided voters come from all walks of life this presidential election cycle, and like any election, they are expected to make all the difference.
The Fourth of July is the day when American’s celebrate the freedoms the country affords its citizens. For John Newton, the right to choose our next leader is top on that list.
“The guy I was going to originally vote for is out of the race, no more Ron Paul, so I have to pick between Romney or Obama to actually have my voice heard,” Newton said.
Adi Mata is weighing hard on his decision. He became a citizen of the United States just a few months ago.
“I’m more of a moderate for everything and I like consensus, like a team builder for work and all that,” Mata said. “That’s what makes it a difficult go for either guy right now, so it’s going to be a while obviously before I pick.”
While Mata is still mulling it over, his fiancé Magdalena Bustillos knows she’ll be supporting President Obama’s reelection in November.
"I don’t think he’s had a fair shot to finish everything yet so I think with four more years he can do something,” she said. “There’s something about Romney I just don’t trust.”
Gladys Hill is not in favor of the Affordable Care Act, but like many undecided voters—she's focused on the economy.
"I can’t really decide because they’re always talking bad about each other,” Hill said.
All of the voters agreed on one thing:
"We definitely need the right leader to point us in the right direction and get us out of this slump in our economy," Newton said.
