As an artist, 9-year-old Bri is familiar with watercolor paints.

"Even the best artists practice first," she said.

Sometimes it takes a few tries to get things just right. Bri hasn't found the right family for her yet, but she knows they're out there somewhere.

"Move to one place, I stay there for awhile, then I start liking it a lot. Then I have to go to another place, another place, and another place,” Bri said. “That just gets old."

She said she's tired of moving around and that she's ready to make the final move to a permanent home.

"It doesn't have to look perfect, it just has to look good to me," Bri said.

Her family doesn't have to be picture-perfect, but Bri does have a few things she looks for.

"They'd like to do stuff as a family,” she said. “Like go to the park, go on a picnic, go do fun stuff, going to the movie theater, going bike riding."

Bri signs her art with just her first name. Her new last name will come once she's adopted. It's the finishing touch to add once she finds her forever family.

In partnership with the Adoption Coalition of Texas, YNN's Jennifer Borget takes her number one priority -- family-- and gives you a glimpse into the eyes of a foster child who needs one. Every Sunday, Jennifer sheds light on some of the issues surrounding foster care and adoption and introduces you to children looking for forever families.
