Andrew, 12, is a great, one-of-a-kind kid.
At Golfsmith, he was able to practice his golf swing, something he doesn’t often have the chance to do. Pros at the shop offered their advice on how he can best get to the green.
Andrew would be happy being a kid forever, but moving around in foster care is forcing him to grow up faster than he probably should.
As for a forever family, the 12-year-old doesn’t have specific qualities he’s looking for, but he does have one request.
"I don't care what kind of a family as long as they're not really mean," Andrew said.
He said he'd like a nice family and maybe a brother he can bond with. Most of all, he simply wants a family that will welcome him and treat him as one of their own.
Andrew says the day he finds out he's getting adopted will be the best day of his life.
"That would make me so excited and so happy and I would literally pass out," he said.
