In partnership with the Adoption Coalition of Texas, YNN's Jennifer Borget takes her number one priority -- family-- and gives you a glimpse into the eyes of a foster child who needs one. Every Sunday, Jennifer sheds light on some of the issues surrounding foster care and adoption and introduces you to children looking for Forever Families. For the last six years, Andrew has called many different foster placements his home. Now sixteen years old, Andrew is hoping to hit a home run with a forever family.

A fan of both football and baseball, Andrew was excited to take a tour of the Dell Diamond in Round Rock.

Outside of sports, Andrew also has a knack for building things and engineering. At school, he loves to participate in athletics and study math.

When he grows up, he wants to become a certified pilot and eventually work on trains.

Andrew’s moved around in foster care for years, and he says he's ready to settle down.

"It would feel good because I wouldn't have to move anymore," he said. "I've been in CPS for six years and it kind of got old. I want to be permanent and I get tired of moving."

Andrew wants a team by his side through life.

"Someone who will do stuff with me, like a brother,” Andrew said. “I'd like to become a bigger brother and have younger siblings."

He says he's picked up some talents of his own that he'd love to share with a younger brother.
