The Texas After Violence Project is a local nonprofit that aims to create a constructive dialogue about violence within the state.
The nonprofit organization shares stories of people who have been directly affected by violence of any kind. Through their real-life experiences, volunteers with the project hope the stories will prevent future instances of violence, and how other respond to violence when it does occur.
The organization is in need for a variety of volunteers. Find out how you can help in this edition of “Life in Action.” Watch the video to check it out.
Whether it's the local environment or world hunger, everyday people are working to make the world a better place. Every Wednesday YNN's Jennifer Borget shares the stories of Central Texans who have dedicated their lives to making a difference.
