Alejandro Escovedo is a staple in the Texas music scene for decades and an upcoming show at ACL Live: Moody Theater will take his fans on a trip through his history.
The show Recollections and Revelry will look back through the last 35 years of Escovedo’s music. The retrospection has led the legendary musician to learn a few things about himself.
“I’ve written a lot of songs,” Escovedo said. “It’s impressive to look back on them. It takes you on a journey that you don’t as a songwriter take every day. For me, it was an awakening in a sense and yet a cool way to say goodbye.”
