Erin Collier, marketing director for The Austin Chronicle, says an all-star tribute to the late Brent Grulke may be the highlight of Wednesday’s Austin Music Awards.
The awards program will also feature The Trishas, composer and musician Bill Carter, the Wild Seeds and dozens of other artists and bands.
And, as has been the case in the past, musicians may be bringing some special guests. Last year Bruce Springsteen made a surprise appearance on stage.
