Just a few new flicks hit local theaters Friday.

The biggest movie coming out this weekend is another installment of a video game based series that just won't die, "Resident Evil: Afterlife." It marks the return of original "Resident Evil" director Paul W.S. Anderson and the first of his new 3D series. Mila Jovovich reprises her role as the kick butt character fighting for survival against the undead.
