The Pflugerville girls basketball team hasn't even set foot on the court at the Erwin Center for this year's state tournament, and already the Panthers got the best news they could hope for... Stars Amy Staha and Brenisha Payne had MRI's come back negative, and have been cleared to play later this week.

The Panthers two leading scorers were injured in this weekend's regional tournament, yet Pflugerville still managed to advance to state for the 4th time under coach Nancy Walling and the first time since 2009. The Panthers are a perfect 38-0 on the season and with two more wins, they would bring home the school's first championship.
