COTA donates fine-dining leftovers to local food bank

The Circuit of the Americas donated 8,300 pounds of food left over from U.S. Grand Prix weekend to the Capital Area Food Bank. The gift included items not typically stocked at the food bank including veal, lamb and crème fraicheto.

Colorful characters fill downtown for fan fest

The first day of the U.S. Grand Prix weekend also meant the first night of Austin Fan Fest downtown. The event brings music, food vendors and plenty of racing fun to the heart of the Capital City through Sunday.

Hamilton takes checkered flag in inaugural Austin Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton with McLaren racing won the first U.S. Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas race track Sunday. It’s a win some would consider an upset after Sebastian Vettel with Red Bull racing was highly favored to take first place after scoring the pole position during qualifying Saturday.

YSN: Grand Prix Austin makes history as U.S. Grand Prix comes to a close

Austin has officially written its own chapter in Formula One history. Lewis Hamilton with Red Bull racing took home the top spot in the inaugural U.S. Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas race track Sunday. While fans from all over the world praised the new track and the city of Austin, some area business owners say the F1 experience fell a little flat.

F1 fell flat for some Elroy business owners
