A resentencing hearing for Laura Hall has been set for Feb. 8.

Hall is the woman convicted of tampering with evidence following the 2005 murder of Jennifer Cave.

She was sentenced to five years in prison, but an appeals court ruled that prosecutors withheld evidence in her case. She is currently free on bail.

Colton Pitonyak was sentenced to 55 years in prison for Cave's murder.

Prosecutors said Hall helped Pitonyak destroy Cave's body and flee to Mexico.
