It's an all out ice cream slinging competition Tuesday night during the
6th annual Trick Olympics.
Amy's Ice Cream is putting the event on at the Hill Country Galleria's Outdoor Amphitheater in Bee Cave Texas. The event raises money for CASA of Travis County.
CASA is a charity that advocates for children who’ve been abused or neglected.
Contestants will be judged by local celebrities on their ice cream slinging abilities in three categories: best solo trick, best team trick and trick decathlon.
Poet Powell has worked at Amy's for 8 years. He said slingers from Amy's shops across Austin come together to compete.
"Once we get all together and everybody does their crazy tricks, we up the ante. I mean everyone is doing something just to top each other. So there are going to be some tricks that you've never seen before," Powell said.
Twenty percent of the proceeds benefit CASA of Travis County. There will also be a raffle.
The event begins at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
