APD seeks suspect in Austin's 15th bank robbery
Austin police are searching for a man who robbed the First State Bank on the 3900 block of Parmer Lane Thursday.
The Austin Police Department said the man entered the bank and demanded money, though he wasn't carrying a weapon.
The suspect is described as 6 foot 2 inches tall, clean cut with blue eyes and salt and pepper hair.
He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
"Witnesses said that he left the scene driving southbound on MoPac in an older model Jeep Cherokee with tinted windows. There is some sort of sticker on the back gate of the Cherokee and it possibly has out-of-state tags," Cpl. Scott Perry said.
Anyone who has any information about the case is asked to call the Robbery Tip line at (512) 974-5092, or Crime Stoppers at (512) 472-TIPS.
