What’s really hot this week is the Austin Chronicle’s 20th Annual Hot Sauce Festival at Waterloo Park. There will be live music on the Planet K Stage, lots of fun, food and hot stuff!

Just as hot in another way is “From Process to Print,” the Austin Museum of Art’s fascinating look at the work of Romare Bearden. This celebrated American artist had an extraordinary facility for weaving archetypal themes and his own cultural heritage into his work. Impressive.

Music fans — especially 60’s fans — will want to head over to One World Theatre Friday night to catch Judy Collins in concert. We’ll get a chance to hear some of Judy’s greatest hits, including “Both Sides Now” and “Send in the Clowns,” performed with only an acoustic guitar accompaniment.
