After months of training, thousands of athletes will get their chance to knock out
The Austin Triathlon. The event will take place this Monday. It begins with an open water swim at Lady Bird Lake and continues with a bike and run around downtown Austin.
Racers will take on a sprint, Olympic, or Olympic relay triathlon. Limited spots are still available for any last minute participants.
News 8 Austin's Veronica Castelo spoke to Dan Carroll of High Five Events about how you can get involved with the event.
