Craigslist adult services section no more
It appears a letter from 17 attorneys general, including Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, has prompted Craigslist to remove its adult services section.
The controversial section on the Internet classifieds site was replaced with a "censored" logo Saturday.
Connecticut's attorney general headed the effort against the ads. Richard Blumenthal said he's pleased to see something has been done, but he's still waiting on confirmation the site's creators have officially amended its policy.
Craigslist is based in San Francisco.
The site has not yet commented on the change.
