Killeen police ask for public assistance in robbery
Killeen police are asking for help identifying the man who tried to rob a convenience store early Monday morning.

Police say a man entered a convenience store in the 1800 block of N.W.S. Young Drive just before 2 a.m. Monday.

According to the clerk, a man entered the store, demanded money and unsuccessfully attempted to grab cash from the register.

He then left on foot empty-handed.

Killeen police ask for public assistance in robbery

The man is described in his early 20s. He's about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs around 115 pounds. Police say the man has several tattoos; one is on his head and others by each eye.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black “Hustler” T-shirt and baggy jeans.
