Recent tropical weather may have left some Central Texans missing out on a big opportunity for harvesting rainwater.

One way to get started is through rain barrels. The folks at Green Water offer a variety of barrels for low prices.

“Water conservation is very important in Central Texas," Green Water spokesperson John Rowe said. "The City of Austin has a rebate program that our products qualify for to help encourage Austinites to conserve water. The state of Texas also makes this a tax exempt product.”
