Thursday night he occupied the stage with Bruce Springsteen, and he’s occupied his own stages for years, but now Tom Morello is going to ‘Occupy’ the SXSW music fest.
Morello is the guitarist for Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, but he's currently touring as the Nightwatchman.
Morello is not only a musician, but an activist as well. He’s bringing both his passions together for an ‘Occupy SXSW’ show at Swan Dive Friday night.
“There’s a lot of sponsorships and stuff that go around SXSW and I wanted to really to do a show that was for the people,” he said.
The concert will be free and partially open to non-badge holders. YNN's Andy Langer caught up with Morello to talk about the show. Check out the video above for more.
