Acclaimed National comedian Paul Mooney takes the stage Saturday night at the State Theater in Downtown Austin. He’s the closing act for the Black Arts Movement Festival.

His in-your-face style stand ups have kept audiences laughing for decades, but he's also a well respected comedy writer. His credits include The Chappelle Show, In Living Color, Saturday Night Live and Sanford and Son just to name a few.

YNN’s Jennifer Borget sat down with Paul Mooney to talk about his time in Austin, and his love for comedy.
