While peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a staple among children's food, for a growing number of kids, exposure to peanut products can cause health issues.
According to a recent report, nearly 8 percent of children have a peanut allergy, which can be life threatening. Experts credit the increase in peanut allergies to a change in peanut processing and a heightened awareness of the condition.
