Whether you’re new to town or considered a local, summer is a great time to tour the city.
One run group offers “City Running Tours.”
“It started in New York back in 2005 and it’s branched out to nine cities,” Austin Manager Lee Ackley said. “So we take people out and we show them the city while running. It’s a good way to get out from behind the tour bus or any kind of crowd situation and really feel the city and see the people at a ground level and you get a workout while you’re doing it.”
