Coming up this weekend is an event designed specifically for Austin’s female population.
The Dirt Trails and Ponytails 5K has been organized by Trailhead Running and will begin at Austin Ridge Bible Church.
The idea behind the race is to get more women involved in trail running, a hobby that organizer Richelle Criswell said many women had approached her about, but were apprehensive of trying.
