A new cycling studio in Central Austin is more like a party than your average spin class.
Energizing music and dim lighting blur the line between workout and a good time.
Visitors to the indoor studio get a full body workout with the help of fitness trainers, or as they call them, ‘cycologists.’
To add to your motivation, CYC donates money to charities based on the number of miles you complete.
The studio's founders say they knew Austin was the perfect place to branch out.
"We came to Austin because we knew it was such a fit town and we knew how social everybody was, and we knew how big the music scene was, which are basically the three main elements of CYC,” founding partner Alexandra Blodgett said. “So it was a perfect fit."
