Active Now: The Money Box Cap 2K Returns for 10th Year

The Money Box Cap 2K will celebrate its 10th anniversary May 5. The race is a 2,000 plus meter open-water race and pledge swim at Lady Bird Lake in Downtown Austin.
You can celebrate with finishers at Eiler’s Park/Deep Eddy Pool after the race for the awards ceremony, lunch and live music by local Austin musicians.
Proceeds from the race benefit The Prostate Cancer Foundation & Us TOO International.
Who: Adults 18 & older, high school students grades 9-12, youth 12–14 (15-17 enter h.s. division).
When: May 5, 2012, Race starts at 10:30 a.m.
Why: For fun, health and fitness, to promote clean water & water conservation, to promote open water swimming, and to raise money to fight Prostate Cancer through research, support and awareness.
